Elite and Elite Field will lock a user out of the system after ten (10) unsuccessful password attempts. All passwords must be managed via the License Management System (LMS) , not Elite. the LMS sends your password and username data to Elite, so you must always visit the LMS for password changes.

If you are locked out, go to the second section below (Locked Out).

Not yet locked out:

If you start receiving errors when you try to login but are NOT yet locked out of Elite, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit the License Management System and try to login there. If you are successful, use the button on your Profile screen towards the bottom that says "Login to Elite" and see if that allows you to login to Elite using your same LMS password. If you are unable to access the LMS with your password, or the Elite attempt from inside the LMS did not work, proceed to the next steps.
  2. On the License Management System, follow the "Forgot Password" process. It will ask you for personal information to verify your identity and then it will send you a link to reset your password. Use this link to set a new secure password, and then attempt to login to Elite after about 2-3 minutes to allow the systems time to synchronize. If it does not allow you in, wait a few more minutes if possible. Should you not be able to login after several tries, contact the EMS Agency via a ticket in this system.

Locked Out:
If you have already used the 10 tries to login but have not yet been successful and find yourself locked out, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a ticket using this Helpdesk system so that the On-Call EMS Data Duty personnel can unlock your account and enable you to reset your LMS password and regain entry. They may walk you through some of the steps above during troubleshooting.
  2. If your agency/service's Elite administrator is on-duty, they may be able to unlock your account in Elite.
