Update 7/17/18: Based on field crew feedback, we switched the order of the 2nd and 3rd choices for Patient Disposition (eSituation.12). Changes on 7/16/18 included a disposition for "Patient Treated and Transported by This Crew in Another Unit". This was put in as the second disposition, however we moved it to third in the selection order so that users who routinely chose the second disposition would be able to continue to do so ("Patient Treated and Transported by This Unit").

- Primary impressions were reduced from over 400 to around 100 different values, with secondary impressions mirrored in changes.

- Patient/Incident Dispositions have been expanded and clarified to help crews identify the correct disposition for their incident

Here is the original announcement:

Hello EMS System Stakeholders,

The ePCR layout will move to the 2018 PCR form effective July 16, 2018 at 1300. The form has the modified disposition choices and the updated/significantly reduced Provider Impression lists (for both primary and secondary impressions). You will also note the mLAPSS/LAMS integration capabilities in a panel.

The form will become the default choice for all providers as of the date/time above, after the next successful sync. Note the visibility rules change - to open items based on questions answered (instead of closing them). Also changed is the ability to turn validation rules on/off - this function is defaulted to on, but to enable a more efficient posting, crews can toggle the rules off, post quickly, and then finish a report in Elite (based on agency workflows).

To best facilitate that workflow, crews should have access to both ImageTrend Elite and Elite Field. Reports will not export to CEMSIS unless they meet the REMSA defined minimally acceptable validation score of 90. CEMSIS reporting remains mandatory during this PCR layout changeover, so we appreciate your attention to records where validation rules may have been toggled off and minimum scores not met with posting.

Our REMSA Help Desk is open and available to aid you/your crews during this changeover. The Help Desk can be reached electronically at support@remsa.freshdesk.com or via phone at 951-840-0675.

Thank you to all of our providers who tested the new form layout, and for your feedback in the development of the more efficient workflows. Please contact the REMSA Help Desk with additional questions, needs, or concerns during this changeover time.

Thanks,

-REMSA EPCR System Staff
